Skydiving is something that most people can do, however sometimes the physical component of it is beyond a person's capabilities. Here is our suggestion: If you can jump off a picnic table and land comfortably on your feet. You can probably skydive just fine! However, if you have a physical or mental impairment, or other questions, please contact our office by phone or email. It is best to speak directly to our instructors about your circumstances to help us ensure that The Rock is able to accommodate you. A weekday appointment may be necessary to give you the time and attention that you deserve
We do our best to keep groups together, but there are many factors that must be considered when manifesting students on their flights. Generally, you will jump with at least 1 member of your group if not more. Our plane holds 2-6 tandem students per airplane load. You might be asked to form smaller groups if your group is large, which just gives you the opportunity to watch your friends taking off in the airplane as well as landing the parachute.

Our instructors are all USPA Members, certified Tandem Masters, and have between 2,000 and 15,000 jumps. To put that in context, the minimum USPA standard for a Tandem Master is 500 jumps - our instructors far exceed that minimum jump level.
We are always asked if tipping the instructor is appropriate. It is not required or expected but it is always appreciated! If you enjoy your skydive, a tip is a great way to show your appreciation for a great time!
Absolutely! If you loved your 1st skydive and want to jump again, we have a 2nd tandem offer for you. If you purchase your second tandem within 1 week of your 1st jump, it will only cost $135. You can make the second jump whenever you like.
In the unlikely event your main parachute doesn't open, there is always a 2nd , or reserve parachute, packed in the tandem rig and will be used if necessary. All reserve parachutes are packed by an FAA certified rigger. Every reserve parachute is repacked every 180 days whether they are used or not.
We offer observer rides in the airplane. They can ride in the copilot seat. The rides cost is $25 and the rider will also have to fill out a liability waiver. Must be 18 years or older.
No. The distance between the tandems make that impossible.
